Frame tents work on any surface — patios, driveways, grass, even sloped ground. They have no center poles, so every square foot is usable. Pole tents require staking into grass and cost less, but center poles limit layout options. Sailcloth tents have a warm, translucent glow at night and dramatic peaked lines. Clear-top tents let guests see the sky and work especially well for evening events with string lighting.
